And we finally get to this episode’s title page! *confetti*
So if it’s not super clear yet, this story’s set in the past (if you’re real clever/nerdy-af, you probably figured that out at this page).
Back when I first got some of my real life friends into GW2 I was levelling my alt, Terin, and so I usually played as him (instead of Tora) with my friends. The following episode (and some upcoming) are all very, very loosely based on that time.

The rock thing is a real thing that happened btw. I honestly don’t remember who started that shit but for a time we all had this in-joke of grabbing boulders and going “IT’S OKAY GUYS! I GOT A BOULDER!”

Myo, in particular, was so bad for this, we once helped him with a story instance where he did nothing useful the entire time but carry a fucking rock.
…while everyone else was fighting mobs.

Also based on a real story: irl Sohe originally played Gw2 on the lowest graphic settings and so she had no idea what Terin looked like while I played with her. After we had finished our first dungeon together she decided, on a whim, to up her graphic settings so she could see what everyone looked like. That line in panel 3 is almost word for word what she said to me.
(I was also just as embarrassed about it as Terin is here tbh)
